Mindfulness with Lindsay
The goal of mindfulness is to wake up to the inner workings of our mental, emotional, and physical processes. It helps relieve stress, depression, anxiety, lower blood pressure, manage pain and promote better sleep. Being mindful can help you become aware of your negative patterns and help you re-programme your mind in a healthier, less stressful manner.
The benefits are endless so if you dread every Monday then start the week with mindfulness practice whether that is through a course, weekly drop-in session or a bespoke one to one.
Anyone can practice mindfulness. There are no barriers. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what your physical ability is, if you’re religious or not…
What is mindfulness?
It is a combination of specific exercises for your mind and body designed to help you live in the present, improve your life and enable your sense of well-being to flourish. Life is precious and Mindfulness gives us the tools to learn to relax more often, bolster our immune system and also enable you to respond to life’s challenges rather than react in a negative way.
The ultimate goal is to bring a sense of peace and stillness. Being busy and juggling multiple things has become our way of life so integrating Mindfulness helps us press that all important Pause button, take a breath and make time for us to refill our emotional cup.
